"This adapter enables effortless and quick retrofitting of an AXION reversing camera to Mercedes-Benz ACTROS 5 & AROCS 5 (Bm963/964), provided they are equipped with the J9P pre-installation and the multimedia cockpit code J6B/J6C. With the CA-MB5 adapter, you can easily connect a reversing camera to the Mercedes system with the J9P preparation.
The display of the camera image on the monitor can be controlled both manually and automatically, for example when engaging reverse gear. Coding may be required to optimally configure all functions.
This interface is used to connect an AXION camera to a Mercedes system with preparation J9P and is designed for operation with 12/24 V DC. In addition, there are optional extensions, such as the CA-MB5-Ext extension set, which allows additional cameras to be connected to the J9P preparation."
