VDO Smart Terminal

VDO SmartTerminal – the latest generation of download terminals from VDO.
The VDO SmartTerminal is the stationary reading device of the latest generation for driver and company cards used in the DTCO 4.0. With the VDO SmartTerminal, you are immediately DTCO 4.0 ready. It has been specifically developed for the requirements of the new digital tachograph DTCO 4.0 and accepts all driver, workshop, and company cards of the 1st and 2nd generation.

With the VDO SmartTerminal, you meet all legal requirements for reading and archiving driver and vehicle data. The VDO SmartTerminal has nearly unlimited capacities for storing this data thanks to its 32 GB SD card.

Optional: Driver's license inspection

The VDO SmartTerminal can additionally be used for driver's license inspection. Additional components are required for this, this function is not included in the standard delivery scope.
